Rochester, N.Y. – The organizational mission statement of Continental Service Group, Inc., d/b/a ConServe, includes helping to improve the human condition.  Towards that goal, they created the company's Jeans For Charity philanthropy program:  Employees are given the option of contributing to a variety of charitable efforts throughout the year, different recipients each month, in exchange for the option of wearing jeans to work.  The organization's "Matching Gift Program" further supplements the team's generosity by matching the funds contributed by the employees. The program, started in 2008 as a way to support a wide range of community investment efforts, has current program donations exceeding $639K.  As ConServe President Mark Davitt often remarks:  "At ConServe, we take great pride in doing the right thing, at the right time, the right way."

ConServe Completes SSAE 16/SOC 1 Type II Engagement

Maintaining the Highest Standards within the Industry

ConServe, is pleased to announce that they recently engaged Macpage, LLC to prepare an Independent Service Auditor's Report in accordance with Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagement No. 16, Reporting on Controls of a Service Organization (SSAE 16), also known as a Service Organizations Control No.1 (SOC 1).  An SSAE 16/SOC 1 Type II report is an attestation standard that examines a service organization's system and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of controls throughout a twelve month period.  SSAE 16 is an enhancement to the previous standard for Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization, the SAS 70, and effectively replaced it as the authoritative reporting guideline.  The changes were intended to bring U.S. companies more in line with new international service organization reporting standards.

ConServe Awarded IRS Contract

Funds to Revitalize US Infrastructure through FAST Act

Rochester, N.Y. – Continental Service Group, Inc., d/b/a ConServe, a top-performing provider of accounts receivable management services specializing in customized recovery solutions proudly announces they have been awarded an IRS private collection agency (PCA) contract as part of the IRS Private Debt Collection Tax Collection Services. ConServe is currently one of only four private collection agencies that has a contract for the collection of inactive tax debts through the IRS Office of Procurement. The funds from these services will provide backing for the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act - the first long-term transportation bill passed in years aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of our nation's surface transportation network. With a 5-year horizon, the IRS private collection agency contracts will be the sole vehicle to fund the legislation.
