ConServe Makes Managing Life's Challenges a Bit Easier

Natural Disaster Relief Efforts and Medical Conditions Are This Month's Charity Recipients

Rochester, N.Y. – Continental Service Group, Inc., d/b/a ConServe, selected organizations focused on improving people's lives, both in the short-term and longer term, as the recipients of their Jeans For Charity philanthropy program in September. The month's Jeans For Charity recipients:  the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Association, the American Red Cross and the Houston Food Bank all focus on improving people's lives, alleviating suffering and making a difference by working together.

Through the company's Jeans For Charity program, ConServe employees can elect to participate in monthly charitable donations in exchange for the option of wearing jeans to work.  In this way, employees are provided with the opportunity to "give back" to their local communities by donating to a diverse group of organizations throughout the year.  Additionally, the funds raised by the employees' generosity is further supplemented by the organization's "Matching Gift Program."  This ongoing initiative symbolizes ConServe's commitment to its corporate mission of helping to improve the human condition.

American Cancer Society's Upstate NY Executive Director Michael Crisona states ""Fundraisers like ConServe's Jeans For Charity ensures no one faces cancer alone. The money raised helps the American Cancer Society fund innovative cancer research, promote education and risk reduction, and provide comprehensive patient support to those who need it most."

Sarah Goldstein Post, Executive Director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation adds "We are honored to have been selected as ConServe's Jeans for Charity recipient in September.  JDRF is committed to accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.  With ConServe's support, we'll be able to further fund important research, education, and advocacy efforts that will help make life with this disease less burdensome while we work to achieve our ultimate vision of a world without type 1 diabetes.
