J. Christopher Lang, Vice President Contract Administration

Responsibilities

Chris joined ConServe in 2006 as the Vice President of Contract Administration. He is responsible for strengthening existing Client partnerships with government entities. He also establishes new partnerships and ensures that all commitments and services are provided to ConServe's primary disciplines, the student loan community and the Federal Government.

Experience

Chris has spent his entire professional career of almost 40 years in the collection industry. Prior to joining ConServe, Chris served as Contract Administrator for over 25 years. He has also held key management positions in Operations, Administration, Marketing and Sales.

Achievements

Chris was a member of the National Council of Higher Education Resources (NCHER) and has severed on many committees including the Default Management Committee and NCHER's Board as the Collection Agency Liaison.

Education

Chris earned his BS degree  from Ohio Dominican College.

Brandon J. Booker, Vice President of Operations

Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Operations, Brandon is responsible for Operations strategic planning and oversees the day-to-day operations for all of ConServe's contracts including Federal Government, Guarantee Agencies, Private Loan lenders and Colleges and Universities.

Experience

Brandon Joined ConServe in 2007. He had previously held management positions on the ED contract for NCO and IQor and has been working in the student loan collection industry since 2005.

Achievements

Brandon is an ACA certified collection specialist. Brandon and his team have earned Top Performer Recognitions across all major contracts and all lines of business.

Education

Brandon attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance/Marketing.


Stephan N. DiPaola, Chief Information Officer

Steve joined ConServe in December 2008 as its Chief Information Officer. Steve will focus on building a more efficient and effective IT organization, streamlining processes, optimizing spend and partnering with the Business to drive continuous improvement opportunities while continuing to improve ConServe's customers experience.

Experience

Steve joins ConServe with more than 20 years experience in Information Systems and has held a variety of IT management positions with Eastman Kodak, Tyson Foods and Carestream Health.

Achievements

Throughout his career, Steve has led IT teams with an emphasis on forming strategic partnerships between IT and the Business to enable operating efficiencies. Steve has a proven track record in deploying complex global solutions, ensuring global operations are reliable, sustainable and positioned for future growth and creating a collaborative working environment that empowers the team and individuals to add value to the Business.

Education

Steve holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y.

huylerGeorge M. Huyler, PHR, SHRM-CP,
Vice President of Human Resources

Responsibilities

As Vice President of Human Resources, George has the leading role of managing and implementing all of the Human Resources programs and systems required to support ConServe's continuous growth. This includes responsibility for employment legislative and regulatory compliance, payroll, executive staff acquisition, employee training and development, compensation systems, benefits analysis and administration, and Human Resources Information Systems.

Experience

George has spent the majority of his career in human resources management in the banking and accounts receivable management industries, most recently serving as Vice President of Human Resources for Firstsource. Prior to joining Firstsource, Mr. Huyler held senior executive positions with IRMC and NCO Financial Systems.

Achievements

George is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, the Association for Talent Development, the Society for Human Resource Management and is a board member of the National Human Resource Association, (Rochester Affiliate.)  He serves as President of the Genesee Area HR Professional Association, and was recognized in 2015 as the NHRA HR Executive of the Year for Rochester, NY.  He has been an industry speaker at a number of relevant conferences on human resource trends and issues. ConServe has been repeatedly recognized as a "Best Place to Work" in our industry, as well as a Global Top 125 Training Organization for the past three years by Training Magazine.

Education

George attended LeMoyne College and Syracuse University and holds the professional designation of Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute, and is a Certified Professional of the Society for Human Resource Management. He has taught HR professionals for the Cornell School of Labor Relations.

Kevin J. Gelabert, Chief Marketing Officer

Kevin has been with ConServe since 2007 and has direct P&L responsibility for the Sales, Marketing and Client Service organizations. 

Kevin manages the total Client experience and is responsible for identifying markets in which ConServe can generate significant ROI value for its Clients.

Experience

Prior to joining ConServe, Kevin spent 15 years in the communications industry holding various sales and sales management positions with leading companies including AT&T, Global Crossing Ltd., and Frontier Communications International.

Achievements

Kevin is a Dale Carnegie graduate; a member of the Mau Kappa Tau National Honor Society; a member of National Dean's List, and in 2007 was named by the Rochester Business Journal as a top "40 under 40" executive.

Education

Kevin earned an MBA in Organizational & Marketing Management from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management.  Kevin earned a BA in Economics & Political Science from the University of Rochester as well as a Certificate of Financial Management from the university's William E. Simon School of Business.  4yr lettermen in NCAA Athletics.
