ConServe's Funding Provides Enhanced Services for Local Agencies

Reinforcing the Efforts of JDRF and ABVI

Rochester, N.Y. – Continental Service Group, Inc., d/b/a ConServe, and its team of dedicated employees proudly supported the efforts of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI) in February.  Through the company's Jeans For Charity program, in which ConServe employees can elect to participate in monthly charitable donations in exchange for the option of wearing jeans to work, employees are provided with the opportunity to "give back" to their local communities by donating to a diverse group of organizations throughout the year.  Additionally, the funds raised by the employees' generosity is supplemented by the organization's "Matching Gift Program."  This ongoing initiative symbolizes ConServe's commitment to good corporate citizenship.

Karen Swierski, Executive Director for the WNY JDRF, states "Gifts from supporters like ConServe are bringing to reality JDRF's goal of a world without diabetes.  Ten years ago, JDRF was involved in less than 10 human clinical trials.  In 2016, we have more than 55 human clinical trials – proof that our donors are helping us more quickly progress in our key therapeutic areas, which will allow JDRF researchers to turn Type One into Type NONE."

"When we heard that ConServe chose ABVI to benefit from their February Jeans for Charity program, we couldn't have been more excited" said Sarah Favro, Foundation and Corporate Giving Manager at ABVI. "ABVI's selection as this month's recipient, reinforced by the effort of ConServe and its employees, truly makes a difference in the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired in our community."

Stacy Bartl, Manager of ConServe's Public Relations and Communications, emphasizes that "an integral part of ConServe's mission statement is the development of positive relationships within our community.  Towards that goal, each and every member of our ConServe team is committed to giving back and improving the human condition through impactful and meaningful work."
