ConServe Supports Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection and the National Academy Foundation

ConServe's JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge Team And Jeans-For-Charity Participants Collaborate To Support At-Risk Youth

Rochester, N.Y. – ConServe employees (supported by the company's "Matching Gift Program") donated more than $4,220 for the month of May to their selected beneficiaries through the combined generosity of its JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge Team members and its Jeans for Charity participants.  Rochester and Buffalo employees elected the Hillside Work –Scholarship Connection (HW-SC) and the National Academy Foundation, respectively.

"Both of these organizations align with ConServe's mission of improving the human condition," said Pam Murphy, Vice President of Privacy and Compliance Officer at ConServe. "We are proud to support the young people in our community and to participate in the Corporate Challenge every year.

Our program relies on community collaboration and their support enables HW-SC to be a solution to the issue of low graduation rates in Rochester," said Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection President Augustin Melendez.

JD Hoye, President of the National Academy Foundation, expresses similar gratitude for ConServe's generosity:  "We greatly appreciate ConServe extending the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge to their employee giving program.  The National Academy Foundation relies on the dedication of business partners to help prepare students for college and career success.  This gift will help to serve the 900 students in twelve NAF academies in the Western New York Region," says.

As part of an ongoing charitable donation program, ConServe and its employees have the option of donating to a different local charity every month. Employees can elect to donate a minimum of ten dollars per month and subsequently enjoy casual dress throughout the work week.

Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection is a nationally recognized youth-development program that for nearly three decades has helped at-risk students stay in school and successfully graduate while providing invaluable part-time work experience and job skills to help prepare them for life after graduation.
