ConServe's FISMA Certification Is Upheld

Rochester, N.Y. – Continental Service Group, Inc., d/b/a ConServe, proudly reaffirms that it has maintained its FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) certification.  Most recently revalidated in July 2016, the company's Authority to Operate (ATO) authorization remains valid for three years.  The private collection agency, a top-performer for the federal government during specific performance periods, received its Authority to Operate (ATO) authorization after its 3rd party assessment in 2016 – required in accordance with the strict security guidelines and audits pertaining to the certification process. FISMA is an on-going compliance program that mandates annual self-assessments in addition to an independent 3rd party assessment that must be conducted every 3 years in order to earn an Authority to Operate (ATO) issuance.

The certification process included detailed assessments of ConServe's technology systems, confidential reporting and documentation procedures, security management practices, crisis planning and general business processes.
